Examples of Our Work

We worked closely with Sale Sharks at a pivotal moment for the club. The club needed to generate more revenue and create a larger fanbase to be more sustainable.

Collaborating with the CEO, the marketing and commercial teams we identified key projects and tasks to complete:

  • Articulate the purpose and direction of the club

  • Construct a brand model for Sale Sharks

  • Develop ways to increase matchday ticket sales

  • Develop ways to increase sponsorship revenue

Within two seasons, matchday attendance had doubled and revenue increased by 212%

We worked with top tier esports team Excel to create a leading cultural gaming brand.

From brand concept to manifesto, slogan and visual identity, to marketing campaign and staff handbook ideation, commercial integration and value proposition development.

A great demonstration of how we can help propel an organisation into next stage of growth and development and use brand work for both a B2C and Investor audience.

We were contracted by the specialist SME financial institution, Allica Bank to create a new brand and marketing strategy, with outputs for both B2B and investor audiences.

Our work covered:

  • Updating visual imagery to reflect the brand model, creating a crisp, simple and easy to apply look and feel

  • Writing and creating a film as an expression of the brand

  • Creating the tagline “Expert banking for business Britain”

We were employed by Oomph! Wellness, leading providers of wellbeing services to the care sector, at a time of significant organisational change.

They were looking to re-launch their category leading On Demand service, as well as seeking new investors.

We helped to launch a brand overhaul, which included:

  • Redefined brand model

  • Integration of new look and feel and brand guidelines

  • Integration with the commercial proposition

  • Promotional brand video

  • New main website

  • Microsite to deal specifically with the new product roll out to existing customers

  • A McKinsey study discovered that strong brands out performed the market by 73%.

Our experience

  • With 25 years experience in Marketing, Communications, PR and Creative Direction, Bastien Hibon founded Brand Cornac in 2018 after creating and leading some of the biggest brands around.

    Bastien has been Marketing Director of several F1 teams including Mercedes, headed Marcomms for IRONMAN EMEA, and led communications for the UK's most successful environmental NGO campaign with charity Friends of the Earth, resulting in a new climate change law.

    Agency-side he has worked at Ogilvy, Limelight Sports and Medialink - clients included the European Space Agency, Diageo, Omega, Ford.

    Bastien is a recognised industry expert in brand and communications and is a guest lecturer with AMOS, Sports Business University.

    Bastien is a trustee and board chair for the charity Greenwich Steiner School.

  • Richard’s collective experiences have shaped his belief that commercial success is built upon a strong brand proposition that is integrated throughout an organisation.

    He started his career in the media with ITV, ESPN and IMG, and has gone on to spend almost 30 years working for some of the biggest brands in the sports and media industries, leading successful and ground breaking commercial divisions.

    He built and led business development in the Premier League with Manchester City FC and at several Formula One teams, including Mercedes and Williams.

    Richard was also Managing Director of a boutique sports research company and has spent time working for the Premier League itself, Limelight Sports, and as Chief Commercial Officer at Glasgow Rangers FC.

  • Former BBC journalist and award-winning PR professional, Nicola Hibon Jackson has a depth of experience across communications and engagement strategy, journalism, PR and marketing. Nicola’s areas of expertise incorporate dynamic copywriting, brand development, comms strategy, public affairs and crisis management.

    Nicola headed PR for Friends of the Earth as well as the Carbon Trust where she was also responsible for the launch of the Carbon Standard.

    Bastien and Nicola met over 20 years ago at PR broadcast agency Medialink where Nicola was a senior producer. Previous copywriting work includes creative online content, promo and marketing copy, press releases along with writing for BBC, IRN and Sky news and lifestyle magazines.

  • Jordan Carr is Brand Cornac's visuals lead, looking after design and “look & feel”.

    Before a long spell as a digital designer at Nike’s European Headquarters, where he created strong digital campaigns for multiple European countries as well as the Middle East and Asia, he was in Bastien’s team on the agency side, at Limelight Sports.
